Beware of smut mongers.

One definition of the word “smut” is:  “Obscene or lascivious talk, writing, or pictures.”

Simply put, be very leery of anyone you meet, online or otherwise, who immediately begins talking about sex or sex acts or who wants to exchange intimate photos with you. 

Many of you reading this may assume I am cautioning women about men however, this assumption would be incorrect.  I have connected with many women who, during our first telephone conversation, no less, attempted to engage me in discussing sex as a prelude to our first date.

Trust me ladies and gentlemen, to a person of quality, such attempts are highly unattractive and will only serve to demean you in the eyes of others.
